Double Dragon - Ghost Towns
A downloadable game for Windows
This project has been created during a marathon of a week.
The conditions were to modelize 3D assets based on the classic 2D game : Double Dragon and create a small narrative design explaining what happened between Double Dragon scenario and this project.
Intro : ( Follows the cheesy scenario of DD)
It’s 2056, AI controls the world, it’s up to you to clear out each town you come across from robots and find your wife whom mysteriously disappeared.
Be ready to lose fat and gain muscle !
Context :
Thinking it will stop the AI from gathering energy, the humans turned the sky dark forever...
About 2 years ago your brother died from bots attacks and your sweetheart was separated from you due to a building explosion.
As you were a martial art master before the Grand War you’ve managed to survive the worst year of human cleansing from the AI.
Life isn’t making much sense without your love, rather than staying in an abandoned house, you’ve decided to kick bots’ asses and find her, killing two birds with one stone !
Game :
Most towns are inhabitable due to a masive AI surveillance.
Your goal is pretty straightforward, you’re out in the dark for vengeance. Enough time has been wasted, you’ll have to destroy all the AI robots from each town in order to access to another town hoping you’ll find your wife somewhere.
Controls :
- Move : WASD ( based on Qwerty )
- Attack : Mouse Left Click
- Aim Zoom : Mouse Right Click
- Sprint ; Shift
- Alt+F4 to quit the game, as there is no menu to quit.
Missing features :
- Ladders : For now you can't grab the ladders present in the game in order to go on the buildings. But you still can go on them by jumping from certain boxes close by the buildings. The colliders were thought and designed for this possibility.
- Boss per level : A boss fight at the end of each level.
- More than 1 weapon : Find and switch between weapons.
- Mobs Path Finders : Creating paths for the mobs to go from point A to point B.
- Hide in House : Possibility to open houses' doors to hide and sometime free some human survivors.
- Bots bullets : Changing the ratio of reload and speed of the bots bullets, as it's too fast atm.
Known Bugs :
- Small AI bots go through buildings and obstacles.

The White Buffalo - House of the Rising Sun (Known from the show : Sons of Anarchy)
I do not have the rights of the song, I'm just a huge fan who wanted it in my work but if that makes any problems I'll withdraw it.
Conclusion :
Even if the game is a prototype, I was pleased to be able to create this universe by myself in my second bachelor's year.
I've done the 3D modelization on 3DS Max, the coliisions with Unity and using certain Unity assets I reprogrammed them to suit my needs.
As it was a marathon, the deadline was short and many ideas are still remaining just that but I still had a lot of fun doing this project !
